India after getting a great start failed to manage it… Sehwag gave a very good start but no one after Sehwag helped Sachin to maintain that start… Gambhir after a good partnership of 50 runs also got out same with Virat too… Sachin was dropped four times in the innings that too dint helped India as Sachin was caught by Captain Afridi on 85… Now it was all on captain Dhoni and Raina … They were going fine but Wahab was unstoppable he got Dhoni and pushed India back in pressure… Then India never recovered and one by one started perishing… Raina from one side remained not out for 36*… Wahab got 5 wickets in his Innings and best figures of his career…

New Zealand batted first but decision went wrong as happened with Ponting and Strauss… Ponting and Strauss too took batting first and lost to Pakistan and Sri Lanka… Vettory after knowing this fact choosed to bat first… Blackcaps started slowly and it was a good start on the pitch like that… But they coulnt atop their wickets to fall… First McCullum and then Ryder and Guptill departed soon… It was Ross Taylor and Scot Styris who stood for their team and made a good partnership of 77 runs gave some hope to N.Z but it was not for long as Taylor was out off Mendis… Slowly N.Z perished for just 217… Muralli took 2 wckts in his last match at his home soil… Will N.Z repeat the performance as done against South Africa???

1st Semi Final… Blackcaps VS Lankan Lions

1st Semi Final between Lankan Lions and The Blackcaps is about to start… Lankans are favourite but kiwis after shocking proteas are on high to defeat the Sri Lanka at home… It would not be easy for Kiwis as taking match from Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka is near to impossible… Sri Lanka has the record of not loosing any match or tournament at Colombo so they are confident and are in pressure to maintain it… Sri Lanka would try to win and get into finals to repeat 1996 history… Whereas New Zealand would try to write their name in the Hall of Fame of ICC Cricket World Cup for the first time… New Zealnd are entering into WC for the 6th time in 10 World Cups but have never won any World Cup yet… So New Zealand will target its first WC where Sri Lanka would love to repeat 1996 World Cup… New Zealand have the toss and choosed to bat first… Is this decision right of the kiwis…
