Second last match of League stage… Kenya to take on Zimbabwe… Not at all important and thrilling match for WC 2011… Quarter finalists had already been decided from group A… Both Kenya and Zimbabwe were playing their last game of world cup 2011… Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat… They couldn’t start well as they lost their both the openers for just 36… But a good partnership between Sibanda and Taibu brought Zimbabwe in a good position… Both scored half centuries it dint get over here… Soon as Taibu and Sibanda went another partnership of 95 runs started between Ervin and Chigumbura… Ervine scored a half century and Chigumbura was not out for 38… Zimbabwe finished their innings on 308 for 6 after 50 over’s… In return Kenya as other matches disappointed their side… They dint do well in the match… Whole team was out for 147 high scorer was Odhiembo who remained not out for 44… Zimbabwe won by 161 runs…
Last match of the league was to take between India and West Indies… Both were in quarters but this would decide who will play with whom in quarters… India won the toss and choused to bat first… Indian line up again showed a flop show only Yuvraj and Kohli played well Yuvraj scored a century and Kohli was out for 59… India finished at 268 after their 50 over’s… In return West Indies after the first blow couldn’t recover back… It was opener DV smith who scored 81 after him no batsmen was able to reach 40 runs mark… Sarwan was out for 39… India won the match by 80 runs… Yuvraj Singh was named Man of the Match…
